These terms apply to transportation services provided by TRUCKUPAYME INC, 3410 Middle Branch Road, Raleigh, NC 27610 ("we", "us"). By booking a load you agree to these terms and to the rate confirmation for that load. If the rate confirmation conflicts with these terms, the rate confirmation controls.
Services
We provide truckload transportation of refrigerated, frozen and general freight within the continental United States. Each load is governed by a written rate confirmation stating the price, pickup and delivery locations, dates and temperature requirements.
Shipper responsibilities
- Provide accurate descriptions of the freight, its weight and required temperature.
- Deliver freight to the trailer pre-cooled to the required temperature and properly packaged.
- Provide a bill of lading listing the setpoint and any special handling instructions.
Pricing and payment
Prices are quoted in U.S. dollars. Invoices are issued after delivery and are due on the terms shown on the invoice. Payments are processed securely by Stripe. Accessorial charges such as detention, extra stops or lumper fees apply only when agreed in advance or listed on the rate confirmation.
Delivery and delays
We make every reasonable effort to meet scheduled times. We are not liable for delays caused by weather, road closures, accidents, government action, facility delays or other events outside our control.
Liability
Our liability for loss or damage to cargo is governed by applicable federal law and limited to the amount stated on the rate confirmation or our cargo insurance coverage, whichever is lower, unless a higher value is agreed in writing before pickup.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina and applicable U.S. federal law.
